Sustain: Invitational Woodfire Exhibition

This exhibition brings together a selection of contemporary North Carolina wood fired ceramics and work from the guest presenters at Sustain: Woodfire NC 2025 International Woodfire Conference. 

Exhibition Dates: May 22 – July 14, 2025

Opening Reception will be informally part of the Woodfire NC 2025 main conference event.

International Juried Student Exhibition

Location: Starworks, 100 Russell Drive, Star, NC 27356

This exhibition was open to all wood-fire ceramic artists that consider themselves a student of their practice. This includes those who are currently in a stage of learning their art and craft on any continent as studio assistants, apprenticeships, post-baccalaureates, internships, artist in residency programs, etc.

Wild Clay: The Story of NC Clay

Wild Clay: The Story of NC Clay is an exhibition focused on one of North Carolina's most important natural resources. It highlights the importance of cultivating and understanding the materials ceramic artists utilize and the work that has been done in North Carolina to enrich our clay culture.

Bring your pieces to sell or trade! The Pot Pop-Up is open to all attendees at Woodfire NC 2025. This is an informal exhibit. Pieces may be placed in the display area at any time and are for sale at the artist’s discretion. Please include a business card with your piece, listing your name and contact details. Participants are responsible for their own work and sales. Organizers are not responsible for disputes or lost items.
